BACKGROUND

Founded in 2017, the U-OROMO is the Oromo nation’s newest, all-inclusive, largest, energetic, widely loved, embraced, recognized grassroots-based United Oromo nonprofit organization. U-OROMO members are all over the world supporting the cause of advocacy for  human rights in Africa and around the world, demanding respect for equal opportunity.

The U-OROMO seeks to remove barriers among the African nations. The group believes that one of the biggest enemies and oppressors of African people is no longer illiteracy, rather, it is the lack of unity among Africans. The group’s principal objective is to urge the world leaders to help in ending the unnecessary blood-shed in Africa. U-OROMO seeks to remove all barriers between the State of Israel and the Palestinian through healthy dialogue.

Therefore, U-OROMO was formed partly in response to the ongoing divisive and destructive ideas among the African leaders and its people especially over the unauthorized television Medias, fake-name-created Facebook, and the YouTube Medias.

The mental, social, psychological, emotional, and spiritual trauma the OROMO PEOPLE in Ethiopia have gone through initiated to establish this organization for the entire African people. We understand that many African people are going through unimaginable living conditions and loosing their precious lives simply every single day. The U-OROMO — the number one organization that is ready and fighting the injustice against all human being.
